DMCA Copyright Policy
ShortGigs LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512, we respond expeditiously to properly submitted notices of copyright infringement.

Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
To submit a valid DMCA notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following elements. Incomplete notices will not be processed.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on our platform (URL)
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate
Counter-Notification (§512(g))
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. §512(g). A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its former location
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address
Submit your counter-notification by email to dmca@shortgigs.ai with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification".
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will provide a copy to the original complainant and restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. §512(i)(1)(A), ShortGigs has adopted and implemented a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright. A user who receives two or more valid DMCA takedown notices may have their account suspended or permanently terminated at ShortGigs's sole discretion.
ShortGigs reserves the right to terminate any account that it believes, in its sole discretion, is infringing the intellectual property rights of others.
Misrepresentation Warning
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
